Soya Bean paste, chilli, shallots, garlic, Palm Oil, Galangal, Turmeric, Candlenut, Dried Shrimp, Shrimp Paste (Shrimp , Salt), Sugar, Salt.
1 packet (230g) Hai's Instant Mee Siam Paste
250g dry vermicelli (soak in water to soften)
100g bean sprouts
1 small stalk chives (cut into sections)
100g tamarind paste (mix with 300ml water and strain for juice)
700 ml water
1. Stir-fry half a packet of Hai's Instant Mee Siam Paste with 1 tablespoon of oil till fragrant.
2. Add vermicelli, bean sprouts and chives.
3. Stir-fry and set aside.
4. Boil 700ml of water in another pot.
5. Pour in the other half packet of Hai's Instant Mee Siam Paste.
6. Add tamarind juice and sugar. Simmer until fragrant.
